I remember waking up Saturday morning to watch Louie's cartoon based on his childhood....it was a great cartoon...i started to watch his comedy soon after and have been fan since...thanks for the laughs Louie R.I.P.

Louie’s portrayal as Christine Baskets was so touching and hilarious. He brought the midwestern baby boomer mom to life on that show, and I am so grateful that we all got to experience his brilliance. Rest In Peace, Louie.

I had the pleasure of interacting with him several times over the course of about 5 days during Christmastime, 2018. I was working as a front desk host at the hotel he stayed at while in town for a show. Despite most of our “up-scale” clientele being extremely rude and boasting a false sense of entitlement, Mr. Anderson was just the opposite — he was a true gentleman, always going out of his way to be especially kind to my coworkers and me. The morning he checked out, I carried his suitcase out to the taxi/Uber (as was our policy), and, while we waited, he asked me how my family was doing with heartfelt interest. Really cool to meet a celebrity who was so genuine and down to earth. I hope you’re with Jesus now, Louie.

Incredible comedian. It was only a couple years ago he won his Emmys. I definitely going to miss him. I loved him more and first fell in love with him in Coming To America. I still laugh hard, when his tells Eddie Murphy, his hopes is to be a dry cook at McDowells. That’s the real dollars. Louie, Louie. You will be missed, but forever loved.
