Let you vocal cords work, don't disturb them. Best advice for tenor.

La canzone napoletana non si canta
Impostata

Interesting, when he told him not to make music the vowels were great and the line was smooth. Something to consider.

No one worked harder on his voice than Corelli. And how can he not say something about the fact that it is all FLAT.

Also was solls?

How would this guy sounds like....standing in the MOUNTAINS.... calling someone at the distance....

Would he sound all NASAL as he does in here....

Would he take a full breath and USE HIS BODY TO SEND THE SOUND OUT...

What would he do?

Titta Ruffo
Giacomo Guelfi
Di Stefano
Maria Callas...
.....

etc....

Are among the GREATEST SINGER EVER.....TO TELL US THE SAME THING...

SEND THE SOUND TO THE LAST ROW.....

Whom should I LISTEN
Whom should I PAY ATTENTION TO
Whom should I learn from....

You can not EXPECT to RUN 100 miles in the mountains....if you DON'T HAVE THE STAMINA FOR.....

The same goes in here.....YOU CAN NOT PRODUCE....YOUR BIGGER SOUND EVER.....IF YOUR MUSCLES....LUNGS....ARE NOT UP TO THE CHALLENGE ....

Beczala is a terrible teacher and communicator. But almost everything he says is correct. The kid moves his diaphragm to hit the high and pushes up his breath. When he marks he doesn't move his breath at all, but he's afraid of the high notes so he moves his breath to compensate, which is a completely natural reaction but a terrible habit for an opera singer. This blocks the passaggio. Simply Sing every vowel in the same place and every consonant on the breath. Easy! LOL

To my taste....it is all....NASAL.....

I DON'T HEAR THE ENGINE SOUND OF A JUMBO JET TAKING OFF...

We are not Corelli...Giacomini....Del Monaco....Caruso....Those guys were A380 or 747 JUMBO JETS....

But.....

Even a SMALL CORPORATE JET....produces the SAME KIND OF SOUND TAKING OFF....

and I CAN NOT HEAR IT IN HIS SINGING....NOR THE TEACHER IS TELLING HIM....HOW TO.....

All the teacher does....is TELLING HIM TO SING NASALLY.....

Established singers are often horrible teachers. He can't explain things correctly (English fluency aside). The kid is choking on the higher notes because his larynx is rising up. Also all his vowels are muddy which creates extra noise in the sound. BUT! When he sang an octave lower, his larynx dropped, he dipped down into his chest voice and the vowels opened up more. He should then bring up the chest to the right octave and watch the voice bloom.

I don't like Piotr style and personality. He likes to interrupt and give confusing orders and make confusing remarks. For starters, he is not at ease communicating in english.
The kind of teacher that would make any student anxious and frustrated (and eventually change to another teacher or quit singing altogether).
